David Cameron’s approach, just laid out in his speech, is an inspiring vision to reverse the damage Labour has done and clear away the muck of British politics. It was the perfect cap to a consistently hopeful, if sober, week.
The painful bureaucracy, gone. The mistrust, gone. MP’s pensions and expenses, reformed. Families, helped. QANGOs, dismissed. People, set free. Responsibility, recognized. Democracy, respected. And on and on: a realistic appraisal of our situation and a set of sensible, yet inspiring principles to put things right.
Is this the party to fix Britain? Will following this team improve the lot of the people of this Country? Most certainly, yes!
Please watch the speech.
