CQC Report on Marlow Hospital

Yesterday morning I had some reassuring news on one of the local hospitals.  Marlow Community Hospital has been given a good report by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following a routine inspection at the end of May.  The hospital is based in the neighbouring Beaconsfield constituency but is used by my constituents.   The CQC report states that patients are treated with respect, and have safe and appropriate care.  A full copy of the report can be viewed here.

The new senior management at the CQC will, I hope, transform the organisation and allow it to give a meaningful appraisal of all English health and care facilities.  We now await the report from the Keogh review, due in mid-July, into Bucks NHS Trust which is responsible for Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville hospitals.
