Armed Forces Day in Buckinghamshire, Saturday 27 June – please volunteer

Bill Chapple Armed Forces DayThis year, Armed Forces Day will be held on Saturday 27 June 2015 at the Aylesbury Rugby Club.

We must never forget the achievements and sacrifices made by servicemen and women, their families, and those veterans whose bravery has secured our freedom in some of the most dangerous and challenging conditions.

This year’s event plays host to the air show including flypasts by P51 Mustang, Spitfire and Hurricane to name a few. There will be  musical performances from The Memphis BellesThe Army Air Corps Band and SkaSouls UK. As well as activities for all the family including a WW1 Village, fun fair, hot air balloon and zip wire.

If you have any time to spare, there are still volunteering opportunities available. Without the support of volunteers we simply would not have an event. Please sign up at www.buckscc.gov.uk/armedforcesvolunteers

Due to the limited number of parking spaces available at the venue, car sharing is encouraged wherever possible. Alternatively there will be a free Arriva shuttle bus service from Aylesbury Bus Station to the event.
