I had dinner tonight with the Aylesbury Constituency Association and, once more, I was inspired by the Conservatives. Everyone was passionately concerned for freedom, civil society and equality under the rule of law. Labour’s “nasty party” slur has never seemed more disingenuous, silly or downright wrong.
