The motorcycle club at Northolt set out a good circuit around the airfield (ridden anti-clockwise): we managed three 15-minute sessions in the day between aircraft movements.

My riding was described as “leisurely” and “smooth and safe”. As I was keeping pace, with a top speed of about 160 mph, I took this as a compliment. Certainly my speed past the crowd rose through the day. The HPC-influenced slow-in, fast-out style was commented on, together with the bike’s rocket-sled acceleration as I blasted off the apexes.

Tyres duly hot and stippled front and rear.

Photos to follow I hope and I have agreed to go to the Odiham event on 1 Sep. A big thankyou to Phil for arranging my attendance :-).
