What I have been up to this week #Working4Wycombe:

  • Continued working for the Covid Recovery Group, as Deputy Chair, to live with the virus and ensure covid-restrictions do more good than harm
  • Spoke with constituents (virtually!) on a number of different issues
  • Joined an informative talk by PRU experts “Net-Zero – How do we get there?” which addressed the Government’s path to Net-Zero
  • Accepted my appointment as Vice Chair of the APPG on Mutuals
  • Joined a Government Briefing for MPs on the latest Covid-19 data
  • Briefed by the Secretary of State for MHCLG, Robert Jenrick, on the policy “Right to Regenerate”, which will give local people the right to turn derelict buildings into homes, businesses and community assets
  • Attended an NHS England brief on the vaccination programme in the South East
