What I have been up to this week #Working4Wycombe:
- Spoke in the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill debates raising various matters and amendments
- Accompanied a constituent to meet the Safeguarding Minister in the Home Office to discuss women’s safety
- Met with Bucks Council & MPs to discuss local & county issues
- Continued my work with the Global Warming Policy Foundation revealing the cost of Net Zero
- Briefed by the Minister for Aviation on the newly introduced inbound requirements for fully vaccinated travellers
- Secured a Westminster Hall Debate on the Oxford-Cambridge Arc which will take place on 13 July
- Briefed by the new Health Secretary on our Covid-19 response and other issues related to Health and Social Care
- Met with the Electoral Commission to discuss ways to improve the UK’s voting system
- Briefed by the Vaccines Minister on the successes of our Covid-19 vaccination programme
- Worked through the Covid Recovery Group to beat coronavirus and reclaim our lives
- And as ever, pursued a range of issues, and made ministerial representation, for local individuals and businesses in Wycombe
