Weekly round-up #Working4Wycombe


What I have been up to this week #Working4Wycombe:

  • Created extra capacity for more work for Wycombe and on national issues by stepping back from the Treasury Select Committee and 1922 Executive
  • Met with SV2G to discuss local Caribbean issues
  • Visited the Barn Cafe at Turville Heath in #Wycombe to highlight a #HiddenGem
  • Attended the Citizen’s Advice Bucks Garden Party, to celebrate their merger across the County better to support people in #Wycombe and Bucks
  • Met with the Secretary of State for BEIS to advance local business
  • Spoke in debate about our great vaccine rollout, warning about Autumn issues
  • Met with Bucks Council & MPs to discuss local & county issues
  • Wished British Muslims celebrating in #Wycombe and across the UK a joyous and blessed Eid al-Adha
  • Spoke on talkRADIO about the impact of the ‘pingdemic’ and called on the Government to turn off test & trace
  • Continued to oppose vaccine passports
  • Interviewed by the Faith in Politics podcast
  • And as ever, pursued a range of issues, and made ministerial representation, for local individuals and businesses in Wycombe
