I am delighted that the High Wycombe Driving Test Centre has now reopened and commenced testing.  I have spent many hours speaking to people in the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, Ministers in the Department of Transport, and the Council, even holding a debate in Parliament on the issue.  It has been hard work but has been worth it.

It is not right learners would have been forced to travel with round trip distances of thirty miles in order to test in often unfamiliar surroundings at great financial cost. The idea of this situation being made permanent was unacceptable and so I was determined to see a test centre reopen in High Wycombe.  From the number of people who have contacted me asking for an updated on its planned reopening I know this is something constituents value.  I am pleased this is now resolved, a great relief to young people, their parents, and those who have built their lives and livelihoods around driving in our town.

The driving test centre will be in Kingsmead Business Park, Frederick Place, High Wycombe HP11 1JU and driving test slots are now available to book.
