On Saturday in @AllSaintsHW, we gave thanks for the life and work of the late Bishop of Buckingham, Dr Alan Wilson.
The tributes were a fitting and poignant reminder of a good life, well-lived. This passage was a good illustration of his character and wisdom.

I don’t care about my neighbours’ accents or where they were born. I don’t like being forced to pay their rent for long periods when I know they haven’t paid into any kind of fund which might help me out if I’m finally found out at work though.
This country needs a positive immigration policy which welcomes people of any creed and ancestry willing to work hard and contribute, whilst minimising free loading and without tripping over itself everytime a pressure group screams ‘racism’.
