AV is too complex – what should be addressed to make voting more representative is the following
1)less Scottish MP – the size of their constituents is much smaller than in Conservative areas – it should be an equal spread.
2)less MPs all round – Japans Diet only has about 200 as does Congreess so why do we need 600????
3)A redrawing of English boundaries so Labour heartlands (NE/NW are more representative – like with the Scots some of the consituents are small
These are the issues that should be addressed not meaningless AV
As it stands Labour starts with a inbuilt 10 point lead in any election.
