Further to my previous posts, yesterday saw the launch of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine fact sheet with an event hosted in the Palace of Westminster by myself and the RCEM. The launch of the RCEM Emergency Care fact sheet


Today, I hosted the launch of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine’s ‘Accident & Emergency: Essential Facts’. As the Secretary of State said during his speech at the event, the fact sheet produced by RCEM focuses the mind on the challenges facing emergency care today. The year 2014 saw 14.6 million patient attendances to A&E, equating to 30 patients per minute.
