The EU makes many rules which have a massive impact on our public services. With plans for taking control of health policy in each of its member states, the EU’s influence over our NHS will only increase.

As an undemocratic backroom manoeuvre, the EU Commission is creating and implementing policies which will greatly affect our local services without so much as asking UK citizens for consent. One such initiative is the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which poverty campaign group, War on Want, called:

An assault on European and US societies by transnational corporations.

By colluding with large corporations and vested interests, the EU is creating a treaty which may expose the NHS to forced privatisation, with our government being unable to challenge the decision.

People from the Left and the Right are worried about TTIP and its consequences. Regardless, there is nothing we can do to stop it while we are a member of the European Union.

The EU created an economic and political union that has led to debt, unemployment and unrest. Please don’t let our NHS be a victim of the EU experiment.

For the change we need, vote to Leave on 23rd June.
