Project Gigabit – Multi-Million Pound Deal for Super-Fast Broadband in Wycombe

I’m pleased to be able to share some good news that’s set to make a big difference in Wycombe and our neighbouring areas. We’ve secured a £58.75 million deal with CityFibre to bring super-fast broadband to many homes and businesses in our community. This move is a game changer, especially for areas that have been waiting for better internet service. This project is part of a larger effort to ensure that everyone, no matter where they live, can access fast […]

Seeking better broadband for Wycombe

During the election campaign, I received correspondence from a number of constituents in reference to the quality of broadband around the local area, including from residents in Piddington. A new digital economy

This means that the UK has the highest superfast broadband […]

I was unable to speak during the debate due to it being heavily over-subscribed, with a 4 minute time limit on those who did speak. The Government gave the following reassurances. The Minister for Culture and the Digital Economy (Mr Edward Vaizey): We said that we would deliver superfast broadband to 90% […]

Via Bucks County Council: An £18.06 million project to transform broadband speeds for thousands more businesses and residents across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire was announced on Friday June 21. Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire County Councils have signed a contract with BT which will see fibre broadband becoming available to more than 90 per cent of premises in the two counties by the end of March 2016. This is a major step forward for the Connected Counties programme which is run jointly by […]
