Decisions made in our Parliament and our courts can be struck down by the EU.

European Union law trumps the laws and courts of the UK. Important policies, including in areas such as immigration and VAT, can be completely overturned by the EU.

For example, Parliament wants to end the Tampon Tax by charging no VAT on sanitary products. The EU blocks this reform.

Those who don’t like or support the party of government in the UK have it within their power to vote them out every five years. What they cannot do, however, is change the executive branch of the EU, which is 100% unelected and unaccountable. This referendum is our chance to reject the EU institutions.

The EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights give European courts the right to strike down policies debated and implemented by democratically-elected representatives in the UK.

When we leave the EU and take back control, the UK Parliament and UK Supreme Court will be the last word on laws which we and our future generations live and abide by.

For the change we need, vote to Leave on 23rd June.
